Kate Middleton, now known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is the wife of Price William, Duke of Cambridge. William is second in line to the thrones of the sixteen Commonwealth realms and, if he becomes king, she will be come queen consort. Kate was born on January 9, 1982 in Bucklebury, a village near Newbury, Berkshire, England. She studied at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where she met Prince William in 2001, and they started dating soon after. Their engagement was announced on November 16, 2010 and they were marred on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
