Brittany Murphy was born on November 10, 1977 and died on Dec. 20, 2009. She starred in popular films such as Clueless, Just Married, Girl Interrupted, 8 Mile, Sin City, and Riding in Cars with Boys, as well as voicing the character Luanne Platter on the animated series King of the Hill. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, then moved to New Jersey and finally California when she was 13 to pursue an acting career. Murphy quickly landed her first acting job in Hollywood when she moved to California, starring in Drexell’s Class. She appeared in many TV series and movies before her untimely death in 2009.
